Flex-Cell Milestones
- 1991: Company founded, began utilizing 5-axis milling technology
- 2000: Designed and integrated proprietary automated work handling into 5-axis machining processes
- 2007: Implemented 2nd shift to meet production demands
- 2009: Became ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 certified, FDA registered
- 2012: Moved into larger 19,000 sqft facility in Lancaster, PA
- 2013: Began integrating Erowa Zero Point work holding and robotics into manufacturing process
- 2017: 35 employees, 2 shifts, 22 CNC machines, 5 robots
- 2018: Received certificate for new ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality standards
- 2021: Broke ground on building expansion, adding 24,000 sqft
- 2022: Building expansion completed
- 2022: 39 CNC machines and 10 robots
